This is one of those recipes for when you're in the mood for "restaurant food". As I've mentioned in earlier posts, we keep our consumption of processed products limited (for us that usually means 1 meal per week with vegan "meat") because even though they're plant-based, they're still processed, so you aren't getting the maximum nutrition from them.
This recipe for buffalo "chicken" wraps seriously tastes just like a wrap you would get from a restaurant. At least I think so! You be the judge - try out this recipe and let me know what you think!
Buffalo "Chicken" Wraps
Ingredients:
1 package gardein crispy tenders
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 tomato, sliced/chopped
baby greens
1 serving homemade ranch dressing (see below)
5-6 tortillas
Ranch Dressing Recipe:
Combine 1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tbs unsweetened almond milk, 1 tsp dried dill weed, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, and 1 tbs fresh parsley (chopped).
Instructions:
1. Cook gardein crispy tenders according to package instructions.
2. When finished, toss in hot sauce.
3. Smear ranch dressing on tortilla, place two tenders on top, cover with tomatoes and greens.
4. Roll up, cut in half, and serve with crispy smashed potatoes!
