Oh hey, I’m still here!

I literally have not posted here in 18 months. Why? Well, this past year and a half was busy to say the least.

In the beginning, we adjusted to having two children.

We opened a pediatric developmental therapy practice.

We expanded that therapy practice.

We signed a lease to open a second location of that practice.

I continued taking classes, doing research, and teaching courses for my PhD program.

Jordan continued working 40 hours a week while I had the girls with me.

I started really focusing on structuring homeschool time compared to just doing things here and there.

Jordan and I both starting focusing more on our health and fitness.

I decided to take the leap to start coaching others to reach their fitness goals and how to start a health and fitness business if interested.

I started taking courses in a holistic nutritionist and health + wellness certification program and am on track to becoming a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner.

We also spent a lot of quality family time, traveled, and found time to relax ;)

I get asked ALL THE TIME.. why do you do so much? Don’t you want to slow down? Don’t get me wrong, I like to lay on the coach and binge Netflix as much as the next person, but my personality thrives on working towards goals, experiencing new things, and feeling accomplished.

Some people prefer a slower paced life and that’s okay too. Everybody is different and get this, everyone should do what makes THEM happy. This is what makes ME happy.

I do take time to slow down, meditate, practice yoga, relax, listen to audiobooks, and just think. But overall, I prefer to have things to do and goals to achieve. It’s what drives me.

I have decided to rename my blog Haley Addis Holistic Health to encompass more of what I want to do here. Instead of primarily focusing on plant based recipes (don’t worry, I’ll be sharing those too still!), I also want to incorporate overall wellness, more about my family, how we parent, how we homeschool, how we incorporate fitness into our busy schedules because health is about so much more than just what you eat. It’s about what you do, who you surround yourself with, and your mindset.

I hope you’ll enjoy this revamp and I’m still working on getting the look & feel exaclty

how I want it, but I also want you to tell me what you’d like to see more of!

Cheers to new beginnings!

xoxo Haley
