Acai Smoothie Bowl

Acai berries are full of antioxidants, aid in digestion, and are also great for your skin, which is always a bonus! I love using frozen acai packs as a smoothie base because they're super convenient and healthy! I prefer the pure unsweetened packs by Sambazon but they have other varieties as well! For this smoothie bowl, I like to use coconut water as the liquid because it's so refreshing, but you could definitely use almond milk or another nondairy milk if you prefer! The chia seeds are great for getting omega-3s, fiber, calcium, protein, etc! I could go on and on about all the health benefits of chia seeds because there are so many! Putting them in a smoothie is my favorite way to incorporate them into my day but we also always include them in our avocado toast too! Finally, the frozen banana is included for flavor and creaminess! Blend everything up, pour in a bowl, and top with your favorite toppings!

I love having my smoothies in my coconut bowls! These eco-friendly bowls from are made from reclaimed coconuts to decrease the amount of waste in the coconut industry! It's also pretty fun to eat out of a coconut!
